Yes and it looks so cute. I do this to both mine and my daughters hair. Our hair is really thick though so we have to also blow dry the braids in the morning. But that only makes it look even better. Then try pulling your hair half back in a barret when it is crimply.

Your best bet would be to take shower and let it dry off alitte. Then brush out good, and apply a good amount of mouse all over and just take bunches of hair in your hand and "scrunch" it all. Then you could add some hairspray to make sure it does not dry poofy and frizzy.

I know with some hair though making it look that way can be very difficult. You might need to experiment with different products and techniques before getting it just right.
