In a pinch, body lotion is fine to use as a moisturizer for hair, but don't use it regularly. The alcohol will dry it out.

P.S.- I would use plain water to dampen your hair. Just massage a small amount of the lotion in first.

You can, but it will make it look greasy. You shouldn't use it often, it can damage your hair. Go to a pharmacy or drugstore and find a gel or something that is supposed to be used for your hair. Hope I helped!

My friend uses it on her hair, and it helps keep her hair from being static-y.

When I went to visit my Mother one time, I found that I had forgotten to pack my conditioner. My hair was so dry when I removed the towel that I couldn't run a brush through it. She had some Jergens lotion sitting on the counter and I rubbed some between my hands and then rubbed my hands on my hair. It was a nice, quick fix. I was surprised.
