How do i get my afro hair to fall?please answer i promise ten points for best answer?

but without using a perm.my afro is about six or eight inches long now.



wnd when i get braids why do they come a loose in the back and curl up,and why arent they that long when my afro is really big

Ok...Depending on the texture of your hair it might need to be longer than 6-8 inches to fall. There are some tricks that you can try too! Try blow drying your hair with a comb attachment. Usually blow dryers with attachments have different sizes, so use the bigger comb.



As far as your braids go...try to press your hair before you get it braided. A hot comb (pressing comb) will give you the same effect of a perm (relaxer) without the chemical treatment on your hair. Also when you get it braided use the little black rubber bands for hair. That will make sure that your braids dont come down.



You also have to remember that when you are getting your hair braided you are braiding to the back of your head. 6-8 inches is generally not the the length of your head from front to back. And braids make your hair look shorter than it really is. So until your hair gets a little longer the length of your braids are what they are unless you add some hair in.
