I want them 6-8 inches long. Do they sew, glue, or braid them in........How long do they stay in and WHAT ARE THE PRICE RANGES? Do you have to buy the extentions and take them to the salon? Please someone help! Serious answers only please! Thanks so much for helping!

It all depends, you can have them sewed or glued in. If you go to the salon and have them sewed in they will last longer prolly around 3-4mths depending on if u take good care of them. If you glue them in, you will prolly get to keep them in for about 3-4wks and its really hard to get the glue out. U have to put a glue bond remover lotion and massage it on ur hair to get it out. As for the inches, you can get them basically any inch I think ranging from 8-24inches.. I'm not sure if it actually goes to 24inches but I kno if definitely goes to 18inches. And if u think that's 2 long u can always cut it urself or have a beautican cut it for u in a style. As for how u get it done, some salons u can buy the hair there and they will do it for u. I kno that it may cost a lot. but usually u can get on the interent or go to a local store and buy the hair and then take it to the salon and get it done. U would have to ask the ppl who are going to do it 4 u. If u are going to use the glue, jus go to a place where you bought the hair and they should have the glue there, they make it in black for black ppl and white for white ppl. lol. Price range is differnet depending on the quality and if u want synthetic or actual human hair.. Human hair u can curl and do all that good stuff wit it, and its more. Synthetic u cannot curl it. They usually come in big bulk ranging anywhere from $8.99-$53.00 or more a pack. Like I said depends on what u want. Some is even more than that. but here is a website which will u give a lot of detail and a lot of different kinds to choose from. U can also chat with one of their specialists online. oops, 4got something U can also buy the clip-in hair extensions, where u can jus wake up and clip them in and when u go to bed jus take them out.

There are SO MANY variables. I've had experience with the Great Lengths extensions (they are the cadillac of extensions, don't cause damage to the hair like some of the other methods do and the hair is the most beautiful human hair I've seen!) If you do Great Lengths, most salons have you do a 50% down deposit and that is what they purchase the hair with. The thickness of your own hair will determine how many bundles of hair they have to order to put in your hair. Thin hair...4-5 bundles. Thick hair....7-8. And everywhere in between! 8 inches is the shortest length they can order and I'm guessing it would cost between $1000 - $1500 US. Like I said, they are the cadillac of all the hair extensions. Those will last anywhere from 3-6 months depending on how fast your hair grows and how well you maintain them.
The only other ones I've heard about are some tape-in ones (ick!) and those ran $300-500 US. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time or money on those kind. I guess they stick for some people and for others they don't.
The main advice I can tell you is don't get synthetic extensions. Sure they are cheaper, but after about a week, your hair gets to looking so knarly. There are also different types of human hair extensions. The source makes a difference. You want to make sure that the cuticles all run the same direction. Some hair manufacturers don't do that and if the cuticle runs different directions, then after a week or so you also have a big tangled mess.

Oh, my older sis got that done and the reality of it was remarkable! It looked so real! You will look good, i see you have blonde hair just like hers so if you can afford it- Go for it!

If you go to a proffessional salon they should give you a consultation appointment first and then after that you should not have to buy any thing but pay for the service. depending on what method you receive you should probably pay anywhere from 250 to 1000 dollars they can get pretty expensive but check into them first and see what is out there and you should find soemone that can do them since you have caucasian hair you should not hve them glued in they will most likely sew them in without braids becasue the braids may not stay
