Where can I learn how to do different things with my daughter's hair?

Should I learn how to do it myself, or should I have one of her friends mom's help her? It would be more convenient learning how to do braids, ties, clips, etc. without someone else there.

walk into any local salon and tell them your situation. ask for help. trust me, someone will be willing to help you out - hands on.

you will have help if you ask for it.

most of your 'problem' , i can almost guarantee, is she moves her head while you try to brush it. turn off the t.v. and radio, have her stand on a chair and look at something on the wall (make sure it's something interesting for her to look at) when you do her hair. it will help.

i am a hairstylist and have helped out a few dads (free of charge) so they can help their daughters. what a great feeling it is to help!!

Well first of all I think that you should sit down with your daughter and watch TV. While Your watching the shows that she likes look at the hairstyles or hair does of the stars And you'll get some great ideas. Also while getting these great ideas you are also spending Quality time with your daughter.

Ask for advice and tips from friends, family, and your local salon stylist. And for easy hair days, spray her hair wet with a squirt bottle, comb her hair into a neat ponytail, or side ponytail and finish with a pretty silk flower hair clip. Easy. I love ordering the Breezy Beach Wear hair clips. They are inexpensive and are all hand made.
